hello. i dont know if any of you are aware that april 21st is the national day of silence to protest the ill-treatment and discrimination faced by gays, lesbians, and transgendered folks. its a vow of silence to last throughout the day.....more info at dayofsilence.org (i found out about it through amnesty international). a club i am involved in at school (students for social justice) are going to go throughout the day with stickers on our mouths (either that say "oppression" or the ones available to print out on the site) there are also cards available to print out on the site to hand out to people to express why you are silent. just thought id mention it in case anyone is interested...(power in numbers and all...) much love.
